Spring Property Inspections
Posted on Apr 9th, 2016
The Biltmore Park HOA Board is tasked with enforcing our community standards, as defined in our covenants and ACC regulations. Over the last few years we have attempted to be more proactive in our "Landscape Initiative", to keep our properties looking their best. This is the way to maintain the high quality of our neighborhood, and to protect our property values.
In April, the Biltmore Park board will be conducting our annual property inspection. We will view each house and lot to make sure they meet our community standards. Properties found to have problem areas will be brought to the attention of their owners.
Here are some of the areas we will be focusing on:
1. Lawns
Will be checked for grass quality, bare spots, weeds, and overgrown borders.
2. Trash Cans and Yard Waste
Must be kept in the garage or hidden from street view.
3. Landscaping
Problems may include inadequate mulch, dead bushes, erosion, exposed pipes, and yard waste.
4. Mailboxes and Posts
Should be well painted with metallic painted numbers, and free of mold, rust, and broken parts, .
5. Fences
Should appear well painted or stained, free of moss, and without broken or leaning pieces.
6. Homes
Inspection will check for mildew on siding or bricks, paint quality, roof shingles, shutters, lighting, and any other necessary repairs.
